Hi friends,
Company A has filed my 485/EAD/AP. I am planning to change company B on AC21 after 180 days. Can I use AP which is filed by company A, for travel purpose after switching to Company B?

This is urgent please advise,
I was planning to join new empolyer with my EAD. I gave my Labor certificate to my manager, some how things are now going well with my new employer manager. Somehow I am in double mind whether to join or not join this new employer, I was just worrried since he has my labor certificate he can negatively affect me , if I do not join this new employer. Please advise if he can negatively affect me any way, or what precation I need to take in case I do not join him.

what is the right address to submit the I485 / EAD and AP using Fedex and fill it in Nebraska?
My attorney submitted my paperwork to:
850 S Street POBOX 87845 ?
I'm confused becase in the CIS site give the address in parentesis mention to write down the right POBOX.
What if she maid a mistake and send the paperwork to POBOX 87485?
PS.
I will be in DC, and we have rented a bus departing from wallace NC monday at 12:00hrs I still have sits available, we will drive to rRaleigh, the Virginia then DC

Hello,
Please let me know if anybody is travelling from BLR(Bangalore) to BOS (Boston) by British Airways on Mar 1 2011.
Because my mother-in-law is visiting US and she is travelling alone. If some travel companion is there it will be helpful as she does't speak english.

The AC21 determination of whether a new job is in "the same or similar occupation" is made based on a comparison of the new job duties and those set forth on the original labor certification application. Job titles are not controlling. So, you need to have a copy of your original LC application and then compare the job description it contains to the duties of the new position.

A lot of physicians do visit IV website - am wondering if there are any user groups or forums on web that discuss potential issues and other stuff that we discuss on IV.

When one graduates from University is he/she eligible to still work for the University while waiting for the OPT?
i.e. graduation date (dec 22) - opt start date (january 17th)

Can you get AP when you are out of status anytime during your stay in USA, if you get AP can you travel outside USA and enter back using it.

USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. Most of the consultants have one or more pay stub missing etc. There needs to be a amendment that more than 6 months so called out of status can also adjust their status by paying some fine or something because

Hello,
I have a new job offer from one of the largest product based company's Global Consulting Professional services.
Situation:
1. I am in a PORTABLE AC21 situation over 180 days of 485 filing and an approved I-140.
2. I have requested the company to prefer my EAD over their H1B offering.
Questions:
1. If I take their H1B offer, what are the risks of USCIS asking me a client letter before joining? Please note it is a huge org. The company intends to take me in after obtaining LIN# from premium H1B processing.
2. The prevailing wage on my LC when filed in 2005 was $60,757 and the offered wage at that time from my company was $76545. My NEW offer in 2010 stands at $118000. Is that an issue?
3. If I use my EAD which is expiring September2010 and due renewal can I keep continuing work until obtaining new EAD?

Company A filed my I-140 and it got approved, however I have not been provided with copy of the approval notice. I don't have the receipt number either. In this case, is it possible to obtain the copy of I-140 thru FOIA (Freedom of Information Act)?

This Skil bill in HR development looks very exciting....may be this will be the our savior bill. Now senate and house both has similar bills and based upon the trend, it looks there is not much resistance to this new bill.
